Fees Payment

 

After registration, participants will receive an invoice with all payment information. Upon payment, participants will receive receipt and confirmation of registration. Payment, in EUR, is required in advance through Bank transfer. In the transfer purpose please write ECIXVI and your first and last names (e.g. ECIXVI IVANA BUJ). In case we do not receive the payment on time, your abstract will not be part of the program and abstract book. Bank fees must be paid by participants. Our bank is in SEPA area. After registration and after we receive the payment confirmation we will send you an invoice within a few days. Invoices for Swiss residents will be in CHF. Please check your institution name and VAT number. 

 

 

EIS Membership

 

Members of EIS (European Ichthyological Society — www.ichthyology.eu) enjoy a reduced registration fee. The discount is available for members who have paid their membership fees for 2015-2019 before 15 March 2019, and for new members who registered before 15 March 2019.

 

Students

 

Students (undergraduate and graduate) must provide proof of their condition (valid student card or letter confirming their status by the University) upon registration via email (ivana.buj@biol.pmf.hr).

 

On-Site Registration

 

On-site registration will be available upon arrival but not presentations will be allowed. The price will be 600 CHF.

 

Cancellations and refunds

In case of cancellation, registration fees will be refunded, less a 50 EUR processing fee, only if a written request is received before 15 July. After that date, no refunds will be given. Fees cannot be refunded for registered participants who do not attend and have not informed us before the cancellation deadline.

 

Substitutions are accepted, but we cannot guarantee that a presentation can be substituted, deleted or added to the abstract book or program.

 

EIS may cancel or postpone ECI XVI because of insufficient registration or unforeseen circumstances. If ECI XVI is canceled or postponed, registration fees will be refunded but we cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges or expenses, including charges by airlines or travel agencies. Registration fees will not be refunded if ECI XVI is held but the registrant is unable to attend due to travel delays or cancellations caused by inclement weather, or due to other circumstances beyond the control of the organizers. 

 

Publicity statement

Registration for ECI XVI gives consent for photographs, publicity, and inclusion on the participant list.
